Robin on a post
It's a robin on a post. Enough said.
Robin on a branch watches you.
This shot was a bit of an experiment in post processing...
I've not been lucky enough to photograph one of these before, and this one caught me by surprise as I was watching some moorhens byt the edge of the river.
Out of a burst of 5 shots, this was the best beacuse it wasn't hanging around.
Wren sees you
I got a number of shots of this littel wren as it moved along the bank looking for food. And then it looked straight at the camera. :)
I managed to capture this little wren as it hopped aorund the roots of a tree by a stream.

Slumber on the river bank
A family of ducks rests amongst the river bank undergrowth.
A gathering of ruddy turnstones
A common pigeon, but with some style.
Pigeon on a fence
Sometimes no matter what the subject matter, the right lighting can make a shot more interesting. The way the light caught this common pigeon's face made the shot all the more interesting.
