Robin on a post
It's a robin on a post. Enough said.
Water vole poised
This water vole sat watching me for a while, taking a well-earned break between snacking.
Taken at Rooksbury Mill, Andover.
Windswept egret in a hurry
Taken at Keyhaven marshes.
The stiff breeze was causing this egret some feather issues.
Resting snow leopard 1
I'm not a fan of photographing animals in captivity, but I appreciate their being held in such environments is necassary to their survival.
To this end I managed to get some nice shots of this resting snow leopard. Quite pleased as it was shot through the chain link fencing. Some tweaking in Lightroom applied to make it pop.
Squirrel in a tree
I spent some happy moments tracking this squirrel and mate foraging for acorns and the like along the forest floor.
Taken at Bolderwood Deer Sanctuary.
Droplets on a leaf
Wandering around the New Forest, I pointed the lens to the forest floor and captured this shot.
Being too lazy to change lenses, I used the 100-400mm for this shot.
Robin on a branch watches you.
This shot was a bit of an experiment in post processing...
I've not been lucky enough to photograph one of these before, and this one caught me by surprise as I was watching some moorhens byt the edge of the river.
Out of a burst of 5 shots, this was the best beacuse it wasn't hanging around.
